Eastern Lightning Softball Club
The Eastern Lightning Softball Club is based on Hobart`s Eastern Shore in Tasmania, Australia. We are one of  southern  Tasmania`s largest softball clubs and have teams in  junior girls plus Senior Women`s teams in A and  B Grade teams. The club was formed some thirteen years ago as part of the Howrah Tee Ball, Softball, Baseball Club which was primarily just a Tee Ball based club. The growth of the softball side of the club over those years have led us to now be our own softball club with our own identity. We have had considerable success over the years winning quiet a number of junior premierships and won our first senior title in 2003/04. More success will come as we are still a young club with numerous young stars working their way to the top level, the next few years will see us become a dominant force in the senior Women ranks . Although it is great to win premierships the main focus of the club is still participation. It is this emphasis on `having a go` that has made us so successful, we encourage all players no matter what their skill level or experience may be.
